State of California Emergency Solutions Grant Program

2017 Operating Year


The County of Santa Barbara Department of Community Services, Division of Housing and Community Development announces the availability of State of California Emergency Solutions Grant Program funds to support homelessness assistance projects throughout the Santa Maria/Santa Barbara County Continuum of Care. Application Training

HCD staff will hold an applicant workshop to provide information, address questions, and deliver technical assistance to potential applicants. All potential applicants are strongly encouraged to attend the workshop.

FY 2017-18 Notice of Funding Availability

Housing and Community Development (HCD) announces the availability of grants and loans to support programs and projects that will serve Santa Barbara County residents. The purpose of these funds is to improve access to affordable housing, improve public facilities and infrastructure, and to increase the availability of community services for homeless and other low- to moderate-income persons.

Application Training
Attendance at application training is mandatory. Applicants must attend a session for each of the grant programs to which they are applying. Applications will not be accepted from organizations that did not attend training.
