SPECIALITY ASSIGNMENTS

Paramedic Positions:

Core Paramedic - 11% of “E” step of Firefighter

Paramedic Trainer - 13 % of  “E” step of Firefighter

Non-Core and Staff  Paramedic - 8 % of “E” step of Firefighter

 

Staff Positions:

Fire Engineer-Staff position - 11.5% of “E” step of  Fire Engineer

Fire Captain-Staff position - 11.5% of “E” step of  Fire Captain

OTHER COMPENSATION

4% for EMT-D Certification

EDUCATION INCENTIVE

$100 per college unit or up to $300 for approved training courses

NOTE: Shift employees work an average of 56 hours per week.
