Park Description:
Refresh yourself in this 19-acre park set among the oak and sycamore trees overlooking Mission Creek. Just minutes from downtown Santa Barbara, the park offers shaded picnic areas, short trails, and large sandstone boulders upon which kids love to climb.

Fun Fact!

The 19.59 acres of Rocky Nook Park, formerly home of Mrs. G.T.S Oliver, was donated to the County in her Name by Sam and Carolyn Stanwood in 1928.


The entrance to this park is on your right just past the historic Santa Barbara Mission on Mission Canyon Road. If you see the entrance to the Natural History Museum on your left, you've gone one bend too far.
