  • CalFresh benefits for March will be issued on a single day—Friday, March 1, 2019—rather than the normal staggered issuance cycle of the first through the tenth of the month. For more information, click here.
  • If you're working but short on money, the state and federal Earned Income Tax Credits (EITC) could put thousands of dollars in your pocket. File your taxes to claim your EITC. Learn more at
  • Want help with your tax forms? You may qualify for free tax preparation help, and free online filing. See this flyer to learn more (2-sided bilingual).
  • Get more fruits and vegetables: The Market Match program doubles your CalFresh benefits at participating Farmers' Markets. See this brochure or visit to find a participating market near you.
  • Can't get to our office? We hold office hours (outstations) at many other locations on a regular schedule. Find out when we'll be in your neighborhood on our Contact Us page.
  • Not sure where to find help? Visit or call 211 on your phone for help finding services: health care, child care, domestic abuse support, counseling and more.
  • Never share your EBT card number and PIN number: this information can be used to steal your benefits. Beware of scams: the county or state will NEVER call or text you to request this information. Please also be aware of phone scams like this one, and avoid providing information such as your social security number or bank account number over the phone.
